Early intervention ABA
From AchievingStarsTherapy.wiki, a reference published by Achieving Stars Therapy.
Early intervention ABA is applied behavior analysis (ABA) for toddlers and preschoolers. Achieving Stars Therapy starts in-home ABA therapy as young as 18 months.[1]
Two services share the name
Federal law uses the term early intervention for a public program. Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act defines an infant or toddler with a disability as an individual under 3 years of age who needs early intervention services.[2] Each state runs its own Part C program.
Early intervention ABA from a provider is a separate service. Achieving Stars Therapy describes its home-based program as private ABA that adds BCBA-led hours once a child has an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.[3] The Achieving Stars Therapy website states that the public program and private ABA are not the same thing and that one does not replace the other.[3]

How Achieving Stars Therapy delivers early intervention ABA
Achieving Stars Therapy delivers early intervention ABA in the family home.[3] A BCBA visits the home for a functional behavior assessment and writes a treatment plan around the toddler's day.[3] A Registered Behavior Technician delivers the sessions, and the BCBA reviews the data every week.[3]
Achieving Stars Therapy calls its play-based approach Connection over Control.[5] Achieving Stars Therapy builds parent training into every program.[6] Achieving Stars Therapy schedules sessions between 8 AM and 8 PM.[3]
